I’ll start. Hi, everyone! I’m Billy - a writer, designer, and creator of The Workfarce!
I created this space to have a very real conversation about the world of work, which includes freelancing, founding a company, and working full-time. After doing all three over the past decade, I’m hoping to peel back the curtain and help others find their place no, matter what it looks like.
When I’m not helping big companies design products, services, and experiences or writing online, I enjoy brainstorming bad business ideas with friends, coffee chats with strangers, weekly movie nights, reading and writing (almost) every day, fumbling my way through a new city with my wife, and sharing my favorite books, movies, series, cartoons, video games, podcasts, Twitter threads, snacks, or cocktails I can get my grubby little hands on. I also make weird sounds with my mouth next to four guys who can sing (i.e. I beatbox in an a cappella group).
But enough about me. I’d like to learn more about you. What do you do for fun? What interests you? What did you want to be when you grew up? Most importantly, what brought you here and how can I help you create a more meaningful career?
